McKinney Moviehouse & Eatery offers a modern and luxurious twist to the traditional dinner and movie date night. It features 10 dine-in theaters that come complete with plush recliners and a dedicated waitstaff ready to help you have a fantastic evening. When you first arrive at the theater, you’ll go directly to your seats to get comfortable. Once you’ve had a chance to look over the menu, a server will stop by to take your order.

You can start your meal with fried cheese bites, crispy chimichangas, or pesto-roasted cauliflower. For your main course, you can go with the classic burger, lobster grilled cheese, spicy chicken sandwich, pizza made with fresh dough, or tacos that come with either three crispy corn taco shells or two soft flour tortillas.

If you need anything during the movie, simply press the service button, and a server will stop by to help you. Otherwise, the servers won’t interrupt your movie. Once the movie is over, you can pay your bill and head out to the full-service bar in the lobby to enjoy a nightcap to end your evening.

If you’re looking to have a little fun on your date night, head about 17 minutes southwest of McKinney to Puttery in The Colony. Puttery combines the excitement of mini-golf with high-tech gameplay and specially crafted cocktails and cuisine to create an experience like no other. This indoor mini-golf complex has four courses available.

The Rooftop course is a challenging nine-hole course that offers dramatic skyline views and a full-service bar that’s just steps away. The Lodge is a nine-hole course that will make you feel like you’ve been transported to a ski lodge in the Rocky Mountains. If you’re interested in a truly unique experience, check out the mind-bending Illusion course with nine surreal and disorienting holes. Alternatively, you can spin the globe and browse the shelves on the nine exciting holes of the Library course.

If all of that friendly competition works up an appetite, head to the restaurant to savor a charcuterie board, vegetable potstickers, oven-roasted meatballs, fire shrimp, tuna tostadas, or a spicy capicola pizza. Plus, don’t forget to save room for the delectable macaron ice cream sandwiches for dessert.
