The 2024 Kia EV9 is a brand-new all-electric midsize three-row crossover SUV that takes eco-friendly family motoring to another level. With its extensive range and fast charging times, the EV9 is ideal for family road trips and daily commutes. It offers unique head-turning looks, a spacious and well-equipped cabin, and superb towing capacity. You can see the all-new EV9 now at Huffines Kia in McKinney, Texas.

2024 Kia EV9 Unique Styling

Kia offers the 2024 EV9 in five trim levels — Light, Light Long Range, Wind, Land, and GT-Line. It has bold, modern styling and a distinctive lighting signature that will get you noticed wherever you go. An illuminated charging port helps you charge your EV9 day or night.

Standard exterior features include a satin chrome trim, LED headlights and daytime running lights, rain-sensing wipers, 19-inch alloy wheels, heated power-folding mirrors with LED turn signals, auto-extending door handles, rear privacy glass, LED taillights, and hands-free power liftgate.

Stepping up to the Wind trim gets you dual sunroofs, while the Land trim gives you an LED digital pattern lighting grille, 20-inch wheels, and auto-dimming reverse-tilting side mirrors. The top-of-the-range EV9 GT-Line has unique sporty body styling and 21-inch wheels.

Thrilling Performance

The EV9 Light trim features a 76.1 kWh battery pack and a single motor that delivers 215 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The Light Long Range has a 99.8 kWh battery and generates 201 horsepower. Wind and Land models have front and rear motors for an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, giving you a combined output of 379 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. Available boost mode increases the torque to 516 lb-ft.

The AWD GT-Line offers 379 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque as standard and can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in as little as 4.5 seconds. Each trim delivers smooth acceleration and confident handling, and the EV9 is surprisingly agile around town for a big car. Adjustable regenerative braking allows efficient one-pedal driving. When properly equipped, rear-wheel-drive models can tow up to 2,000 pounds, while AWD trims have a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Superior Range and Efficient Charging

You never need to suffer from range anxiety with the 2024 Kia EV9. The rear-wheel-drive EV9 Light has an EPA-estimated range of up to 230 miles on a full charge, while the Light Long Range will take an impressive 304 miles. The Kia electric AWD Wind and Land models range up to 280 miles, and the sporty GT-Line has a 270-mile range. In real-world testing, the EV9 exceeded these estimated figures.

With a 240-volt Level 2 charger, you can fully recharge the EV9 Light from 10% in around six hours and 45 minutes. With the other models, a full charge takes eight hours and 45 minutes. When using a 350 kW Level 3 fast charger, this electric SUV reaches 80% charge in approximately 24 minutes for most trims and just 20 minutes for the Light trim.

Elegant Interior

The EV9’s modern, airy cabin complements the exterior design and features model-specific synthetic leather upholstery. The Light and Wind trims seat seven people, while the other models feature second-row captain’s chairs to provide a six-person capacity.

You get plenty of storage for large and small items. Behind the rear seats, the EV9 has 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space, and folding down the third row gives you 43.5 cubic feet to stow your gear for adventures around McKinney. With the second-row seats folded, you get an 81.7 cubic-foot cargo area. Light models offer a 3.2 cubic-foot front trunk, while AWD models have a 1.8 cubic-foot “frunk.”

Even in the base Light trim, you’ll find power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, one-touch sliding and folding second-row seats, LED lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The tri-zone automatic climate control has separate controls for your rear seat passengers, keeping everyone comfortable.

The Wind trim adds a heated steering wheel. The top two trims feature heated and ventilated second-row seats, driver memory functions, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, and a digital rearview mirror. Multicolor ambient lighting lets you set the interior atmosphere to suit your mood.

State-Of-The-Art Technology

The driver-focused cabin features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with a 5-inch climate control screen in between to create a comprehensive, seamless display. As standard, you get a navigation system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, a wireless phone charger, and an eight-speaker audio system with satellite radio.

All three rows have fast-charging USB ports to keep everyone’s devices charged, while two 110-volt outlets let you power up your electric toys or tools. Passenger Talk enables you to talk to your back-seat passengers through the sound system without shouting or turning around. The GT-Line adds a 12-inch head-up display.

Advanced Driver-Assistance Features

The EV9’s suite of standard and available driver-assistance features helps keep your family safe on the roads. As standard, you get blind-spot collision mitigation, forward collision mitigation, rear cross-traffic collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. Safe exit assist stops your kids from opening the rear doors when the car is moving.

Highway driving assist helps keep you in control on certain highways, and driver attention warning provides alerts if your concentration is reduced. The Land trim adds side parking distance warning, reverse parking collision mitigation, and a 3D surround-view monitor. The GT-Line offers front and side collision mitigation and remote intelligent parking assist.
